At Xsights, we continue to conduct the most interesting research and I am proud and very happy to announce that ESOMAR Foundation has awarded Xsights as the winner of ‘ Making a Difference Award ‘ for our work on ‘ Public Perceptions of Schizophrenia ’.
Razvan Bondalici of ESOMAR Foundation quotes about our research:
These exceptional times which we are living demand that we embrace cooperation like never before, therefore it is vital that the collaboration between the Market Research industry and the Not-for-Profit sector will continue even on a bigger scale from now on. We aim through these awards to encourage researchers to continue delivering valuable and insightful social research which will increase the overall impact of market research in building a better world. For this edition of the Making a Difference Awards, the judges considered projects that made the biggest difference to the most important issues of our time, as identified by the UN SDGs. The Public Perceptions of Schizophrenia is an extremely interesting project with robust methodology, which rightfully so, deserves global acclaim.
Schizophrenia patients and their relatives face several social problems such as long-term unemployment, poverty, homelessness, exploitation, and victimization… The reason behind these problems is largely related to stigmatization of schizophrenic patients. Stigma is a broad and multi-directional concept which has been receiving increasing attention in psychiatric research and policymaking. We are extremely touched to be making a difference on this subject especially during the time of the global pandemic during which we all have a better understanding of the importance of psychological health. We will be presenting results of our survey during ESOMAR Insight Festival which will take place between 14-16 September to the global research community and would be honored if you joined us in this global congress:

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Abdi İbrahim Otsuka and The Federation of Schizophrenia Associations for trusting us with this key research. I would also like to thank to my wonderful team, supportive clients and fieldwork partners for supporting Xsights in every project…
Xsights rocks, once again! And this time the world! Stay tuned.
